Bringing “See The World Anew” to Life in Sound for Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines is known around the world for excellence, and we were thrilled to help bring their campaign, “See The World Anew,” to life through audio.
At Original Audio, we know that audio is often one of the final pieces of a campaign puzzle. By the time we’re briefed, the TVC has usually wrapped and the visual assets are locked in. Our challenge is to create synergy
to make sure the audio doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
And honestly, we love that challenge.
The Idea: See the World Anew
The campaign centres on the idea of seeing the world through fresh eyes. In the TVC, Grandpa Joe believes he’s “seen it all” until he travels with his grandson Nate for the very first time. Together, they rediscover the magic of travel.

Translating That Story Into Sound
We wanted to tell Joe and Nate’s story purely through sound, because when it comes to connecting emotionally, audio storytelling is incredibly powerful. In fact, studies show that ads using storytelling and vivid mental imagery are up to 40 times more effective. (OMD research)
To recreate the spirit of the TVC, we layered an emotive voiceover, the perfect piece of music, and immersive 3D audio effects to capture the excitement and wonder of travel, all optimised for headphones and digital audio listeners.
